CFD Simulation of a duct
Project Objective: Calculate Pressure Drop across the duct using CFD simulation approach
Project Challenges: Defining geometry from the actual site duct. Creating snappy hexa mesh in Openfoam Measuring the actual readings for pressure across the duct geometry and model it in CFD. Further, change the design and model the improved results. Challenges also included getting the modified duct manufactured and results validated through actual readings.
Output A summarized report including images for CFD results(Pressure, Velocity, Streamlines)
Report also included remarks and recommendation for design change (radii) to reduce pressure loss across the points.
